Internships

Students move on from the Holman internships program with real career tools

At Holman we value education, continuous personal and professional development, and paying it forward. The Holman University summer internship program delivers on all those objectives and more.

Rising juniors and seniors enrolled at an accredited college or university are encouraged to apply online for the Holman summer internship program. The application is typically open from September to December.

To be honest, it's a competitive program; selection standards for internship candidates are as high as they are for employment candidates. Chosen interns are notified the following spring.

why work phenom

Often, we offer high performing interns full time positions within the organization.
Majors that we look for include

  • Business administration
  • Finance and accounting
  • Management
  • Marketing
  • Supply Chain
  • Human Resources
We thoughtfully place each intern into a level-appropriate role across a number of Holman locations. In addition to job responsibilities, the internship experience will include:

  • Career development – Interns develop professionally by working with their department leaders and team members toward departmental objectives while prioritizing customer service, quality assurance, efficiency, collaboration, and innovation. They also attend an executive panel to learn about career development from our leadership team.
  • Group project – The group project gives interns exposure to areas of the business outside their assigned department. For example, we might assign an intern in a customer service role to a group project focusing on marketing or human resources.
  • Team-building events – These fun activities give interns the opportunities to network and socialize in a relaxed setting. These peer relationships can become instrumental to their overall success, beyond the scope of the internship.
  • Community volunteer project – From making sandwiches for people experiencing food insecurity to beautifying a community through landscaping and gardening and a myriad of other volunteer roles, Holman interns get to see firsthand how they can contribute to a kinder, more caring world.
